Dear Virtual Public School Parent,

We need your help on a quick project. Will you take a few minutes to complete our survey and tell why you chose a virtual public school for your child? As all Oregon students transitioned to distance learning due to the coronavirus pandemic, your responses to this survey are more important than ever and they will help inform state leaders about education options and alternatives to traditional brick-and-mortar public schools.

Even though virtual public education has been around now for 15 years, many state policymakers do not really understand what it is, how it works, its benefits or how it is funded. One of the primary goals of the Oregon Virtual Public Schools Alliance is to inform state policymakers about this important education option and tell them why it’s the right fit for so many Oregon families.

We will not share any of your individual survey responses unless you give us permission. The data will be aggregated and shared with Oregon's leaders on education policy.

During this unprecedented time, parents need education options. With your help we can inform our policymakers and let them know how you and so many other Oregon families have benefited from a virtual public education.
