Dear OVPSA Families –
Thank you for registering for our Virtual Schools Capitol Day webinar on Tuesday, April 6 at 12pm.
For those of you who have joined us in Salem to attend Virtual Schools Capitol Day in non-pandemic years, you know that we provide poster boards and markers for students to draw posters to wave during the rally on the front steps of the Capitol. Seeing the finished posters and all the positive messages about virtual schools is a highlight of the day.
Student Activity
While we can’t meet in person this year, students will still have the opportunity to make a poster during our Capitol Day webinar. Make sure your student has the following materials on hand:
Poster board or other paper
Markers or crayons
A parent or adult who can take a photo of them with their finished poster
Students are encouraged to work on their posters during the 30-minute webinar. When they’re done, take a photo of them with their completed poster and email it to us at info@oregonvirtualschools.org. We will share these photos on our social media channels.
I’m looking forward to this fun activity and to seeing you and your children on April 6!
