Dear OVPSA parent,

As we prepare for Thanksgiving later this week, it’s a good time to pause, reflect and show gratitude for the positive things in life. I’m grateful for many things, including the opportunity to send my children to the school of their choice, a full-time virtual public school. Our school offers state-certified curriculum, the flexibility for students to pursue their interests and learn at their own pace and it has amazing teachers who truly care about their students and who work with them to reach their full potential. As a parent, virtual public school allows me to be involved in my child’s education and ensure their educational needs are being met. We are lucky to have this education option in Oregon, but the reason we have this option is due in large part to students and parents like you. Thank you for your tireless work on behalf of your education choice.

There is still much work to be done and I look forward to working with you to advocate for our children and our school choice during the 2023 legislative session.
