Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, families were looking for alternatives to their local district-sponsored public school and some found a good fit in a virtual public charter school. To those of you who are new to virtual public education and the Oregon Virtual Public Schools Alliance (OVPSA), welcome! Welcome back to those of you who are seasoned virtual public school parents and already part of our advocacy coalition.

We need your help on a quick project. Will you take a few minutes to complete our survey and tell why you chose a virtual public school for your child? As all Oregon students transitioned to distance learning due to the coronavirus pandemic, your responses to this survey are more important than ever and they will help inform state leaders about education options and alternatives to traditional brick-and-mortar public schools.
