You're Invited To Testify At The OR Senate Education Committee Hearing!

On Wednesday, April 21, at 3:15pm, the Senate Education Committee will hold a hearing on Senate Bill 240 which would remove the 3% enrollment cap on full-time virtual public charter schools. In 2011, the Oregon State Legislature placed a cap of 3% on the number of kids in a school district that can transfer to full-time virtual schools. In the wake of COVID-19, more and more families are seeking enrollment in virtual public schools. School districts across the state are hitting the 3% cap and denying families enrollment in the school of their choice. This simply isn’t fair.
